HOW TO APPLY

The first step for the 2008 process is to complete the Intent to Apply form and send it to the Governor's Quality Award Office by the deadline of April 4, 2008. You may view and print this form in a PDF format by clicking here. The form is also located in the back of the 2008 Application & Criteria for Performance Excellence booklet.

The Governor's Quality Award program uses the same application criteria as does the Malcolm Baldrige National Quality Award program. These criteria cover seven areas of doing business:
1) Leadership
2) Strategic Planning
3) Customer and Market Focus
4) Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management
5 )Workforce Focus
6) Process Management
7) Results
